The products are mainly used by customers belonging to Flavour & Fragrance and Personal Care industries. The Business comprises about 29 products. During the year, sales increased by 55% to ` 388 cr. Sales in India increased by 43% to ` FU ([SRUW VDOHV LQFUHDVHG E\ WR ` 275 cr and formed 71% of the total. Growth on account of volume was 31%. Sales from new products were ` 7 cr. The &RPSDQ\ FRPSOHWHG FDSDFLW\ H[SDQVLRQ RI p &UHVRO DQG XQGHUWRRN SURMHFWV IRU LPSOHPHQWDWLRQ :RUOG PDUNHW RI p -Cresol is estimated at 55,000 mt and is growing at about 3%. Though earlier the product used to be manufactured LQ WKH 8.
