Atul HR continued to focus on improving processes related to performance management and training and development. An improved Reward and Recognition Scheme has been evolved effective January 1, 2015. The Non-executive Directors on our Company Board are amongst the best; my colleagues and I are privileged to benefit from their varied experience and receive their constructive criticism, encouragement and guidance. Mr Gopal Patel chose to retire because of ill-health; the Board will miss a man with a keen eye for detail. Our Company has inducted three accomplished professionals, Mr Mukund Chitale, Ms Shubhalakshmi Panse and Mr Baldev Arora, as Independent Directors. India is on the threshold of unprecedented growth, and we will participate in this new story in different ways, by growing existing products, adding downstream products, introducing related products and seeding new products - all by enhancing focus on serving our customers and understanding their dynamic expectations. To make this happen, we will work with a steely resolve , with a spirit of solidarity and with a sense of common purpose which have always propelled businesses further. As a company whose inherent core Values are Indian – where growing is considered incomplete without caring and sharing – we will expand our business footprints while protecting the environment and serving the society with similar rigour.
