Atul Ltd | Annual Report 2012-13
The builders of Atul sensed the need for sustainable development, 50 years before it
became a part of the national discourse. The huge investments voluntarily made for
treating (gaseous) emissions, (liquid) effluents and (solid) wastes, the almost obsessive
interest in creating eco-friendly systems, establishment of a medical centre in 1961 and
proven track record in carrying out almost all Unit Processes and Unit Operations safely
underscore their foresight and devotion to safety, health and environment (SH&E).
