Serving the Society

Atul is a story of a dream driven by a strong social purpose. Our Founder, Mr

Kasturbhai Lalbhai, may have been an industrialist by definition, but he was

a socialist by character. His contribution to India, particularly in the fields of

economy, education, culture and religion is a living testimony of his intent of

as the people of Atul have the onerous of responsibilities to expand

and diversify business footprints and nurture his legacy of serving the society.

Over the last six decades, the Company has built schools, medical centres, recreation and

sports facilities, community halls, temples, etc and contributed in establishing and (or)

managing schools, medical facilities, etc mainly in Valsad district, but also elsewhere.

During the year, the Company undertook several initiatives in the areas of education, health

and culture, particularly in and around its manufacturing locations, some of which are

highlighted below:
